Realtor.com Tops in Traffic
According to a press release put out today, Realtor.com is still the top site for consumers looking for real estate information. The release cites comScore Media Metrics as the source, which is reputable.
From the release:
“The comScore data continues to demonstrate our position as the leader and industry standard in terms of consumer engagement, as measured in minutes, visits per unique user and page views,” said Lorna Borenstein, president of Move, Inc. “Traffic to the Move Network has never been beat by any competitor in the company’s history and Realtor.com continues to lead the market as consumers’ favorite site, logging in almost five times the minutes spent with the nearest competitor in August.”
I have to think some will be a little suprised by this – Realtor.com just doesn’t get as much buzz these days, but the traffic is still solid.

Realtor.com definitely has the name recognition and dominates the serps but I wonder why they haven’t gotten a clue from sites like Trulia and others and allowed their Realtor members to connect with this traffic.
