I tried the ‘freecreditreport.com’ service myself a few years ago - of course I canceled their obligatory ‘enrollment in triple advantage’ ($15/mth) the next day as it is complete overkill in my opinion.
I see that the FTC are now trying to educate everyone about their endorsed website for truely free credit reports.
