Who should I call or write to voice my opinion that the agent should control which listing information feed takes preference. If I purchase a single property website I would like to know that the buyer has an opportunity to view it. After all...SPS would offer more to the buyer than the local MLS listing page.

Very few articles have addressed this problem - or the lack of updating by the sites such as yahoo, zillow etc. We have just begun to submit our listings and our agents are frustrated with the lackof updates, and the problem you mention - some of their listings go to our website, some go to Homes and land etc. It is very hard to explain to an agent they just have to wait or can't do much about it.

Any further thoughts on timliness of updates would be good. I would hate to think agents would have to pay to get it right - or that the broker would have to pay to get it right either.

The big sites NEED our listings - why can't they get it together?
