This article made waves in the past day over at Inman News. Marc Davidson devotes his column to talking about the changes in the real estate industry and how brokers and agents are going to have to work closer together now that the “10 years of real estate’s sex, drugs and rock and roll has lifted.”
There’s some great ideas in the article, and nipping on the periphery is the idea that brokers and agents are going to have to start using technology to their advantage. It seems like many agents and brokers - certainly those active on the Inman News site - understand this, but it’s a good wager many are still living in the stone age when it comes to technology. It will be interesting to see how quickly they are forced to adapt or if they ever will.
